Experience
Throughout my education, I was employed by Weber State University Student Services as a math, chemistry, anatomy, and microbiology tutor. I also served for 3 semesters as a human anatomy laboratory instructor in the WSU Zoology department. Other subjects in which I have experience tutoring are trigonometry, physiology, and statistics. I also served 1 year as a Supplemental Instruction leader for Pathophysiology. Although writing is one of my strengths, I have never tutored English. Nevertheless, I am willing to assist with writing or critiquing papers upon request. Some of my past students and tutees have subsequently hired me for private tutoring, so I do have references if needed. I am a current member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the premedical honor society, and Golden Key International Honour Society, for which I served for 3 years as WSU Chapter President. In Spring 2008, I earned my baccalaureate degree in Zoology (with a chemistry minor), graduating cum laude. I just recently finished my second B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. I find teaching to be very satisfying and I very much enjoy helping others to be successful.
